Minerals Used in Women’s Makeup

As with seemingly everything these days, even womens makeup is taking a turn towards the more natural side of life with the introduction of products that are comprised primarily of minerals. By using creating womens makeup out of minerals, companies are creating a pure makeup solution that often provides much better and even coverage than traditional makeup that is made with chemically created compounds such as synthetic colors that are listed in the ingredients as FD & C numbers. There is also a whole host of other ingredients ---- such as Castor oil, iron oxide (a derivative of rust) and various dyes ---- that many women are now shying away from in an attempt to use the more natural mineral based makeup on the market today.
